"We need your help in the Maryland Chapter office!"

--Kathleen "Laurel" Imlay

Laurel Imlay is the Maryland Chapter staff person. She works in the College Park office, coordinating the information and the volunteers that make the Maryland Chapter run. We have a constant need for office volunteers to help with our grassroots organizing campaigns...calling Sierra Club members, writing, printing and stuffing letters, working to up date our databases and answering the telephone. We get dozens of calls a day.

If you have time during the weekday and can come to College Park, we need your help. For more information, contact Laurel Imlay at 301-277-7111 OR 410-813-2225. Her email address is <ialm@erols.com>. We need all the help you can offer. We urge you to volunteer if you have time.

Volunteer! It is good for you!

Watershed Radio

The Watershed Radio Project is a daily one minute radio program produced by Maryland Chapter volunteers. Each program focuses on a specific piece of research, story or description dealing with some portion of the Chesapeake Bay's watershed.

Watershed currently airs on four radio stations in Maryland and Virginia. We are in discussions with ten more stations.

If you have contacts at a radio station, we could use your help in getting that station to carry the program. If you can help please contact Chris Bedford at 301-779-1000 (cbedford@erols.com) or Janis Oppelt at 301-474-5358 (janiso@erols.com).
