Governor OMalley continues to support the destructive, overpriced ICC. Heres what you can do to encourage him to rethink the transportation policy in Maryland.
Governor OMalley has repeatedly expressed his support for the Inter County Connector (ICC)a massively expensive and destructive highway in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties that will do little to reduce congestion, according to the states own study.
If you agree that this is bad for the environment, bad for taxpayers, and a bad transportation plan, please write to the Governor and ask him to do a cost/benefit re-evaluation of all transportation projects in the state, including the ICC.
Lets ensure that we are spending our hard-earned taxes on the most effective projects.
The Governor can be reached via e-mail from his web page: www.governor.maryland.gov/mail/.
