Overall Run lower falls. This 93-foot waterfall is the highest in the Shenandoah National Park.

Broad-Headed Skink (Eumeces laticeps). This kind of lizard often climbs trees to get at insects (note the ant at the bottom edge of the hole).
Eastern Oak Looper larva (Phigalia titea) were all over some oak trees, causing heavy defoliation.
Sleepy Duskywing (Erynnis brizo) butterflies were common throughout the hike.
Eastern Tailed Blue (Everes comyntas) butterfiles.
A Common Stinkhorn mushroom, probably Phallus impudicus.
A Yellow Morel mushroom found in the path.
Wild Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis).
Birdfoot Violet (Viola pedata).
Wild Geranium (Geranium maculatum).
Dwarf Iris (Iris verna).
Wild Pink (Silene caroliniana).
Wood Betony or Lousewort (Pedicularis canadensis) was present in various red and yellow variations.
Unidentified huckleberry or blueberry flowers.
Yellow Pimpernel (Taenidia integerrima).
