The group enjoys the non-view at Stony Man, the second highest peak in SNP.

The Pinnacle, the third highest peak in SNP, seen through the trees as we descend into Nicholson Hollow.

Tree Ear / Wood Ear Fungus (Auricularia auricula). During dry periods it is thin, crusty and dark brown. During wet periods it can adsorb 63 times its weight in water and looks like this. Is used in Asian dishes, including hot and sour soup. [Gary]
