Flag Ponds Nature Park, MD

Photos by Ken Clark, 2005/06/26.

An Eastern Pondhawk dragonfly caught another dragonfly, and flew around for a few minutes before landing on this log.

This Painted Turtle is apparently beginning to dig a nest.

This Mud Turtle was going for a walk, maybe also looking for a place to nest. Or looking for dentures?

This Leopard Frog was in the swamp. We saw many other frogs and toads on the trail, including hundreds of babies near the fishing shanty.

We've reached the beach. Blessing, Richard, and Gayle have a snack and bare their feet.
