Day 1, Seneca Rocks
Group shot before we climb to Seneca Rocks.
View east from the top.
Enjoying a precarious perch.
Climbing down into the "saddle" in the rocks. Everyone opted to go to the top!
View west from the rocks.
Day 2, Rohrbaugh Plains
Mountain Wood Sorrel (Oxalis montana) lined the first mile of the Rohrbaugh Plains Trail.
Young specimens of Chicken of the Woods, (Laetiporus sulphureus).
An impressive view of Red Creek Valley from "Unnamed Vista".
The group enjoying this view for the first time.
Man overboard! Not really. Ann found a nice flat rock down there to lay on.
A cold massage at swimming hole #1. We visited two this day!
At times the trail was literally engulfed with Mountain Laurel in its prime. These were in an open field above swimming hole #2.
Hiking up Red Creek Trail toward Blackbird Knob.
Looking back from whence we came.
