Jeremy's Run / Neighbor Mountain, Shenandoah NP, VA

Falls along Jeremy's Run.

A tranquil pool along the way.

Everyone found their own routes across the Jeremy's Run.

Celandine (Chelidonium majus).

Bellwort / Wild Oats (Uvularia sessilifolia).

Hispid Buttercup (Ranunculus hispidus).

Wild Geranium.

Common Chickweed / Starwort (Stellaria media).

This is probably Veiny Pea (Lathyrus venosus), found on top of Neighbor Mountain.

Cow Vetch / Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca).

Green and Gold (Chrysogonum virginianum).

Small-flowered Phacelia (Phacelia dubia). Grows less then a foot tall. Blossoms are violet-blue with green centers when they first bloom. Fade to light blue or white. Usually found in thick clusters or mass plantings in open woods.

Squawroot (Conopholis americana), a parasitic plant that feeds on the roots of trees.

Canada Violets (Viola Canadensis), a tall variety of violets.
