A surprise find inside this huge old hollow tree...
... a newly hatched turkey vulture baby (white!). The parent is trying to hide.
We saw many of these tiny frogs, and even more little toads. [Todd]
This Flat-backed Millipede (Polydesmus angustus) is checking out a Red Raspberry Slime Mold (Tubifera ferruginosa).
This old tree stump looks like a sculpture.
Indian Pipes (the flower of a saprophytic plant) are just beginning to emerge.
