Patapsco Valley State Park, Daniels Area

Photos by Ken Clark, 2003/08/23.

Our first break, on a high ridge overlooking the river valley.

An unoriginal name, this is called a brown snake, identified by the light stripe down its back.

Lunch on the rocks by Brice Run.

Judy and Dave prefer a seat closer to the water.

A hickory horned devil, a huge caterpillar (over 5 inches long) that turns into the royal walnut moth.
