Peggy, Mike and Don scouting the Green Ridge State Forest.
The Potomac River as we started the hike.

Fifteen Mile Creek Aqueduct (2).
We were surrounded by Virginia Blue Bells, Dutchman's Britches, May Apples and Wild Geraniums as we hiked the C&O Canal.
We had redbuds around us for almost the entire hike.
Peggy checks out Lock 58 while Don has quiet time (actually reading the forest map).
Bird Foot Violets.
YUCK!!! Red-sided Flat Millipede (Sigmoria aberrans). AKA Almond
Millipede because of the odor it omits when it feels threatened.
Fifteen Mile Creek (one of many views).
A view of one of the many ridges in the forest ... and more redbuds!
