Join Us for the Maryland Sierra Club's Biannual Gathering!

October 2nd-4th
Elks Camp Barrett, Annapolis MD

Don't miss this fun filled weekend with Live Music, Environmental Workshops and Great People!


Highlights include: Live Bluegrass from the Satyr Hill Band, Hikes with Nature Experts, Great Speakers like Allison Chin, President of the National Sierra Club, Silent and Live Auctions, Environmental Workshops on topics from renewable energy to composting, Games for the whole family, and more!

The event will be held in a beautiful wooded area, perfect for hikes, bird watching and enjoying the outdoors.  Accommodations include: dormitory style cabins and beautiful campsites.  The location is a mere 30 minutes from Baltimore city and 45 minutes from the DC area. 

Price: $75 Adult, $50 Student/Low Income/Worker, $10 Children, 5 and under FREE.  All meals and lodging included in the registration price.

Jamboree Schedule

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sierra Club Maryland Chapter's work to curb global warming.  Last year, with your help we passed the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reductions Act in Maryland.  Come on out for a great weekend and support an excellent cause! 

Top 5 Reasons to Attend this year's JAMBOREE:
1.  Have fun!  There's something for everyone at the Jamboree.  Come out with your family, friends, or on your own and meet new like minded people!

2.  Support a great cause!  All proceeds from the weekend will benefit the MD Sierra Club's work to curb global warming.

3.  Learn about environmental issues!  There will be more than 15 different workshops on current environmental topics ranging from energy issues to composting.
