March: Hike at Gunpowder starting at historic Jerusalem Village
Our First Hike...
Kick-off Hikes: Gunpowder Falls State Park On September 18, 2004, despite the effects of Hurricane Ivan, the Young Sierrans gathered for the first time. Though only three participants showed up in this formidable weather, Kathy lead the group on a pleasant hike along the Gunpowder Falls River to the Pretty Boy Dam. In the following months, on October 16, November 13, and December 11, different sections of the park ware explored, led by the group's original leaders Kathy and Angela.
