The Executive committee meets at Room 114, Calvary Methodist Church on Rowe Blvd. in Annapolis at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend. Call David, 410-263-6341 for general club information.

May and June, 2012, Invasive Weeds Removal, Quiet Waters Park

The Sierra Club of Anne Arundel County, in cooperation with Quiet Waters Park, announces continued work sessions to remove invasive species from the park. If the weather cooperates, we will continue this important work to protect the native plants in the park. Invasive species are overwhelmng our native plants and trees.

We will be working on Wednesday mornings and are trying to get an additional group together for Saturday mornings.

If you are able to participate, bring with you, or wear the following: long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat, work gloves. Bring water, sunscreen, and a bag lunch. Bring hand clippers, pruners or small saws if you have them; some will be available. You may also want a notebook and/or camera.
