Annual Potluck Dinner - Saturday, January 25
Hold that date! The
Anne Arundel Sierra Club’s annual birthday
celebration has been scheduled for Saturday, January
It’s always a fun evening during which we have a
main speaker, honor environmental activists in the
county, get an update on Group activities and listen
to an occasional bad joke.
As the Chesapeake Bay continues to face daunting
challenges, we’re excited this year to have one of
the nation’s premier experts on Bay issues as our
speaker: Nicholas DiPasquale, director of the
Chesapeake Bay Program Office. The Chesapeake Bay
Program is the regional partnership charged with
directing and conducting the restoration of the Bay.
We’ll once again be gathering in the function room
at Calvary United Methodist Church at 301 Rowe Blvd.
in Annapolis. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
We’ll be doing the usual potluck, so here’s your
assignment! If your last name begins with the letter
For example, if your name is Francine Wilderness,
bring a side dish.
- A through F - bring a desert;
- G through L - a main course;
- M through S - a salad;
- T through Z - a side dish.
Dishes should be large enough to feed yourself (or
your party) plus one more.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and
under; they can be bought door the evening of the
dinner. You may also purchase tickets in
advance online. Click

If you can’t bring a dish, we’re asking an
