How To Get To

Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary

From the intersection of Maryland Rt 4 and US 301 near Upper Marlborough MD

Take MD Rt 4 East toward Prince Frederick approximately 3 miles to the exit for Plummer Lane.

Follow Plummer for about 1/2 mile.

Turn right onto Wrighton Road.

Follow Wrighton for about 1/2 mile.

You will see the park sign on your left. Follow the dirt road to the visitor center parking area.

From the intersection of Maryland Rt 2 and Maryland Rt258 near Deale MD

Take MD Rt 258 West, Bay Front Road, (away from Deale) approximately 4 1/2 miles to its end at MD Rt 4 (don't turn right across the bridge).

Turn left onto Wrighton Road

Follow Wrighton about 1 1/2 miles (crossing Plummer Lane at about 1 mile).

You will see the park sign on your left. Follow the dirt road to the visitor center parking area.
