Top 10 Things You Can Do This Legislative Session

Find your representative in order to contact them during this Legislative Session. To find your representative please click on this link: http://mdelect.net/electedofficials/

Sign-up for action alerts on the Maryland Chapter's Action Alert Page: http://maryland.sierraclub.org/action/

Sign-up to volunteer in the Maryland Sierra Club office with phone-banking. Please call the office at (301) 277-7111 and leave your name, phone number, e-mail address, and issues you would especially like to work on.

Contact your representatives. Write a personal letter (even handwritten), send a fax or an e-mail, and give them a call!

Lobby your representatives in person. Please refer to Reminders for General Assembly Visitors: Helpful Hints for 2007 Legislative Session for information about visiting your representatives: http://www.dgs.maryland.gov/press/2006/010606.htm
- Sign-up to attend our Environmental Action Days (click here for dates). If you are interested in attending please send an e-mail to maryland@sierraclub.org with the title "Will Attend EAD 2008" and include your name, phone number, e-mail and home addresses. Also include your county, and if you know it, your legislative district.

Organize or attend an Issue Forum.

Send in a donation to help support our efforts. Pledges will go towards phone-banking, making copies of letters, fliers, and testimonies, and parking fees. Please make checks out to Sierra Club Maryland Chapter, and mail to:
