Learn the Tricks of the Lobbying Trade Attend a Sierra Club Issue Forum


You are cordially invited to attend the issues forums being held around the state during January and February. The purpose of the issue forums is to both educate people about laws affecting the environment coming up this legislative session and preparing people to lobby their legislators on Lobby Day, February 19, 2001 Presidents Day). Issue forums are designed to give attendees information about how to lobby, including things to do when lobbying, different scenarios one faces vhen lobbying representatives and how to deal with them, what to concentrate on and remember to do when lobbying. The issues forums are 1 1/2 - 2 hours long.

The following three issue forums are being held in Prince George's County:
