AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL 1043

(First Reading File Bill)

AMENDMENT NO. 1

On page 1, in line 5, after “a” insert “certain”; in line 8, after “a” insert “certain”; and in line 9, strike “a residence” and substitute “certain buildings or places or in a location that is inconsistent with certain zoning ordinances”.

AMENDMENT NO. 2

On page 2, in line 12, after “facility” insert “regulated as an intrastate facility by the Public Service Commisssion”; in line 15, after “facility” insert “regulated as an intrastate facility by the Public Service Commission”; and strike lines 18 and 19 and substitute:

“(ii) 1. in a location inside an acceptable separation distance, as calculated by the blast over pressure safety standard under 24 CFR Part 51.203, from a building or other place in which individuals work, live, or congregate, including a school, day care center, nursing home, senior citizen building, Metro station, shopping center, recreational facility, or residential subdivision in Prince George’s County; or

2. in a location that is inconsistent with the zoning ordinances of Prince George’s County under Article 28, § 8-101 of the Code.”.
