The Montgomery County Sierra Club and its partners call on the Council to secure a dependable infrastructure financing plan that will ensure transportation facilities are built as new development occurs around the White Flint Metro station. Social and economic value would be added if Rockville Pike is turned into a multi-modal boulevard, a network of complete streets is built, and the area is made friendly to walkers and bicyclists.
